Healing after pregnancy loss

There is a path back to peace.

Rachel's Vineyard walks with women and men who carry grief after pregnancy loss. The retreats are gentle, faith-rooted, and completely confidential, a safe place to set down what you've carried alone.

A quiet, comforting moment of support and reflection

What it is

A weekend that meets grief with gentleness.

Rachel's Vineyard is a retreat for emotional and spiritual healing after an abortion or pregnancy loss. Over a single weekend, a compassionate team of licensed counselors trained for this work creates a private space to acknowledge loss, release shame, and find hope again. The retreat is rooted in the Catholic and Christian faith, and a priest or pastor is available for spiritual healing for those who draw on Christian faith. You are welcome whether you hold a deep faith or none at all.

You set the pace. There is no judgment, no pressure to share more than you're ready to, and no cost to you. What you bring to the weekend stays in the room, and what you carry out of it is lighter.

What to expect

Three steps, at your pace.

  1. Reach out, in confidence

A private, no-pressure conversation. You don't have to explain everything or decide anything, just take the first quiet step.

  2. Come to a retreat weekend

A safe, confidential setting guided with compassion, where grief is met gently and you are never asked to carry it alone.

  3. Keep walking, not alone

Healing continues after the weekend. You leave with ongoing support and a community that stays in your corner.

Who it's for

If this grief is yours, you belong here.

Women

If you've experienced a pregnancy loss, whether last month or decades ago, this is for you. There is no timeline on grief, and no expiration on hope.

Men

Fathers and partners carry this loss too, often in silence. Rachel's Vineyard makes room for that grief and a way through it.

Family & loved ones

Grandparents, siblings, and friends are touched by pregnancy loss as well. Healing can be shared, and you are welcome here.

Your privacy comes first

35+ women and men find healing through Rachel's Vineyard each year.

Every one of them began with a single, private conversation. Reaching out does not commit you to anything. It is simply the first gentle step, taken in complete confidence, whenever you're ready.

When you're ready, we're here, quietly and without judgment.

Call to ask a question or learn about the next retreat. Your inquiry is confidential.
